How to use:

Simply to be placed on the pot - fill the batter box with dough and slide it back and forth to create nice uniform Spaetzle-noodles
 

Spaetzle / Knoepfle-Recipe (fresh noodles)

To serve 4 to 5 portions mix:
3  1/3 cup of flour,
4 to 6 eggs,
2 teaspoons of salt,
water as needed.

• Beat well with spoon till batter shows air-bubbles.
• Allow to rest covered for about 15 minutes.
• Hold the grater under cold water, then fill the top up to 3/4 with dough.
• Put the grater upon a big pot with boiling salted water and shove the top with the dough back and forth, applying slight pressure.
• As soon as noodles rise to the top, remove them with a skimmer and fill them in a pre-heated bowl.
• Repeat the procedure.

After use clean slicer and grater immediately with cold water, before you put them into the dishwasher.

Recipe for Swabian Spaetzle / Knoepfle-Noodles

Ingredients:
250 g flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oil
1/8 liter of water

For lubricating:
1 tablespoon
butter
1 tablespoon
breadcrumbs

Beat these ingredients well until batter shows air bubbles. On moistened Spaetzle Lid deposit a part of the supple dough. Now scrape the dough into a high pot with boiling water.

Tip: Do not place the lid completely so that the water vapor can escape. It is also helpful to rinse the Spaetzle Lid between cold water and to lift the lid for scraping the dough drops on the underside.

Spaetzle are done when they come up to the surface. Remove with large strainer spoon and put in colander. Keep spaetzle warm and repeat process until all dough is gone. Top spaetzle with in butter browned breadcrumbs.

Tip: For a richer taste substitute the water in the recipe with eggs, but make sure that the dough does not become too tight.

GOLDSPATZ Two-Prong Cork Puller  OH-HA

(Also known by the manufacturer MONOPOL as AH-SO)

Waiter's friend, chrome-plated, two hardened steel prongs embrace the cork, without damaging it, thus ideal also for brittle corks. The OH-HA offers a specially sharpened cutting thread. The cutting thread “cuts” its way softly through the cork and does not press it apart. A breakage of the cork when pulling it out is almost impossible because of the wide, flat pulling surface of the thread.

How to use and to care:

• First enter the longer prong between cork and bottle neck.
• Then apply twisting downwards movement until the handle touches the top of the bottle.
• By simultaneous turning and pulling the cork can easily be removed from the bottle.
• It is also possible to re-cork the bottle using the OH-HA following the steps in the opposite way round.

The steel prongs are factory-wise treated with a foodfriendly grease and should be lubricated again from time to time with a drop of cooking oil. Please wipe OH-HA dry after every use.
