How to use:
Simply to be placed on the pot - fill the batter box with dough and slide it back and forth to create nice uniform Spaetzle-noodles
Recipe for Swabian Long Spaetzle (fresh noodles)
To serve 4 to 5 portions mix:
3 1/3 cup of flour,
4 to 6 eggs,
2 teaspoons of salt,
water as needed.
- Beat well with spoon till batter shows air-bubbles.
- Allow to rest covered for about 15 minutes.
- Hold the grater under cold water, then fill the top up to 3/4 with dough.
- Put the grater upon a big pot with boiling salted water and shove the top with the dough back and forth, applying slight pressure.
- As soon as noodles rise to the top, remove them with a skimmer and fill them in a pre-heated bowl.
- Repeat the procedure.
After use clean slicer and grater immediately with cold water, before you put them into the dishwasher.
