Zassenhaus Mill Set AUGSBURG, Olive wood / stainless-steel

This applies to the pepper mills / salt mills AUGSBURG, too. The mills are made of noble wood and stainless-steel and have the patented grinding mechanism made of high-performance ceramics – Made in Germany. It is harder than steel, humidity and ethereal oils cannot harm the mills. The grinding mechanism works in two steps and grinds pepper, salt, dried herbs and spices carefully and thoroughly. You can adjust the six grinding levels from powder fine (1) to coarsely crushed (6) at the grinder bottom. Degree of grinding remains exactly the same while refilling and can always be seen on the adjustment ring.
In order to make to most of spices, they should always be ground freshly, as the essential oils – the carriers of so many flavours – will disappear after a few minutes.
Maintenance tip: from time to time you should grind some rice in order to protect the grinding mechanism from sticking.
